I would like to know why I am on my own author alert. I did not put myself there. When I upload something new to fp.net, I know I've just uploaded something new to fp.net. I don't need an author alert in my inbox telling me there's something new--from ME!

Unless I had split personalities, and only one was the writer. Then it would be useful.

Or just a good plot bunny.

I had to write this in the LJ post box because blank Word documents have been terrifying me recently. Then since it was already here, I figured I could take the extra effort of hitting 'post'.

I actually like this. The most last minute assignment ever.

I'm not good at this. Hmm. I read everyone else's posts but never comment and I vaguely suck at all things social, even internet-wise. Blah.

To correct this, I will do nothing, except churn out more story bits. Two things are about to go up between now and new year's and I have a much larger, fantasy-esque thing that will start going after that. Related to that third thing; for fun, I abused the artpad, I can't draw with a mouse, or anything else for that matter. Yeah, he's kind of blue. It's fantasy, what have you.

Christmas was Christmas, and all that. Relatives who write rhyming poems describing the events of the whole year should be killed, repeatedly, until they are dead.

A second holiday-themed story? In July? It's CHRISTMAS IN JULY. This is because I suck at updating and this is done, and...well. It's going on fp.net as well. All unbeta-ed, blah blah, as normal.

Well, I disappeared again. That's not quite cool.

Back to college, things going on, writing a ton but not posting any of it. Does anyone care? Well. Something will show up eventually.

Ugh, why does my life exist?

Or well, a life outside of writing, because I could seriously do that constantly, if I wasn't made to do other, less pleasant activities.

I'm going to get something out eventually.

I just realized the other day I have not updated Christian Faith for about six months and no wonder no one thinks I'm going to finish it. I am. I totally am. Unfortunately I've been writing the last chapter, which doesn't help updates, exactly.

I must explain my writing. I write in chunks. I do not write in sequence. This is why I can never do NaNoWriMo. I will write the first scene, a middle scene, the last scene, write another paragraph before the original first scene, throw more scenes haphazardly into the middle, add more at the end, more in the beginning, realized something major has changed, rewrite half a middle scene...and it just goes on like that. This is why I have over 70 page written for Pretty Shade of Grey but am totally unable to update. Nothing is in order. It falls into place, somehow. A scene will come into my head and it might be in the beginning, end, or near middle, or have absolutely no damn place at all, but I have to write it down right then otherwise it goes away.

All my stories are like this, which is quite sad. But there's an excuse for my lack of...anything, really. Plus things I wish were not happening but are, and are eating my time. Hiss, I say, and rawr.

Oh, and, HARRY POTTER. That's right. AND I've been really tempted to write some H/D and I have two planned out in my head that I could do...oi, end random tangent.

I've been a bit absent. Life actually began to happen. Slightly frightening.

I have this strange thing about me....I need to reach out more to people I guess. I need to like...post in communities or something, or reply to LJ posts, or just review more people's stories. Since I don't have anyone in RL to share my writing with, I really should try doing that online. I guess I'm fairly antisocial even over the internet. Must...work...on...this...

And I'm about to attack with new stories/chapters. If that interests anyone. o__o

that co-written thing I also haven't put up yet because it has NO NAME: 4,103

That last one is so far clocking in at a total of 47,000+ words and isn't even done. Soyotome and I are wordfaces. We should never have collaborated. We'll kill j00 4|| w!7h w0r6$.

Really, the only thing keeping me from uploading the first monster chapter of our co-written story is a name. We can't come up with a good title for this story. Sucks like a Hoover, doesn't it? (this also being why I NEVER give my chapters individual names)

Well, we'll see how long this takes.

Am I done? I think so. Actually, I'm not, because there are some chunks missing in between some scenes. Watch me produce a 6000 word chapter.

College has been kicking my ass for the past few weeks (months). Lots of work, not much free time. I've been trying to work on things during my free time and it's only recently I've actually been able to really get anything written.

So hopefully sometime in early May there will be some new things, such as a new chapter of Pretty Shade of Grey, the as-of-yet-untitled co-authored fantasy story, and a short story/one-shot(ish) called The Swing at The Edge of the World that I've been working on for a class. There's also a sort of magical realism thing I've been messing with...kind of interesting, may never actually become anything.

And my room has been infested by ants. I killed three during the course of typing this update because they ran over my keys and I smooshed them.

I have obviously updated nothing. However, the first chapter of that epic fantasy thing is just about ready. Sometime this week I belive. Also, Soyotome has given me free range with all of her stories that she had considered boring and useless. But everything is better with SLASH. So now I have O so much to work with, and it is lovely. So there's going to be an assload of stuff showing up in the coming months.
